The Beanery Bistro and Bart's Drive-In have teamed up to provide an eclectic menu that is sure to please a family with a diverse set of culinary tastes.
First Thursday - February 4, 2010 On the First Thursday of every month The Beanery (and Bart's) participates in the Windsor Chamber of Commerce First Thursday program and offers a special or entertainment from 5 - 7 pm. You can enter the Chamber's raffle all day to win a great Romance package for Valentine's Day!
The Beanery Bistro & Bart's Drive-In is situated on the calm Farmington River with outdoor seating to be enjoyed by customers on a warm and sunny day. The restaurant's area is the ideal place to go fishing, walk on the river trail conveniently across the street, or kayak with friends and grab a meal afterward.
Whether you want a hot dog and fries, or a vegetable wrap loaded with fresh veggies, or any number of the hundreds of items on the menu - everyone is sure to find something they like at Bart's Drive-In and The Beanery Bistro.

T.J. Banks, the author of Catsong, will be at Bart s Beanery December 17th to sign books and speak with readers! Stop on by and meet the literary mind behind works such as Souleiado, Houdini, and Chocolate for a Woman s Heart.
Bio: T. J. Banks has written fiction, poetry, book reviews, and essays for numerous publications, including Poets & Writers, CAT FANCY, Just Cats, Writing For Our Lives, Woman & Earth, Our Mothers Our Selves: Writers and Poets Celebrate Motherhood (Bergin & Garvey), Cat's Meow! An Anthology of Cat Tales Maine Rhode Publishers), Chocolate for a Woman's Heart (Simon & Schuster), Chicken Soup for the Single's Soul (Health Communications, Inc.), At Grandmother's Table (Fairview Press), Soul Menders (Guideposts), and Their Mysterious Ways (Guideposts). A contributing editor for laJoie and a former editorial associate with the Writer's Digest School, she has won awards for her work from the Cat Writers' Association, The Writing Self, and Burbage's, Ltd. In addition to her time-travel novel Souleiado (Five Star 2002),she has also written a novel for young adults, Houdini.
She lives with her daughter, Marissa, their cats, and two rabbits with Issues in Simsbury, CT.
